With 22 years of nursing experience and 8 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Nancy Ashford is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting health within the community. She began her nursing career in 1993, earning her LPN from East Mississippi Community College. She continued her education at Mississippi University for Women (MUW), where she received her Associate of Science in Nursing (1997), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2007), and Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (2016).

Throughout her career, Nancy has gained extensive experience in Med-Surg, House Management, Performance Improvement, and JACHO standards. She also served as a certified school nurse for the Starkville School District for 8 years, impacting the health of the students she served.

In her professional life, Nancy seeks guidance from God to deliver compassionate care while educating patients, colleagues, and her community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, relaxing at the beach, pampering herself at the spa, and watching sports with her husband of 31 years, Ryan. She finds solace in tending to her rose garden, her personal retreat.

Her greatest joy is watching her four children grow and experience life, a source of inspiration that continually motivates her both personally and professionally.
