Amy Claire is an occupational therapist with specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and intensive physical therapy for Parkinson’s disease. Her interest in occupational therapy first began when she was able to witness her grandmother go through therapy and continually meet her rehabilitation goals. As a three-sport high school athlete, Amy Claire also has firsthand experience with shoulder dislocations, back strains and muscle tears.
Problem solving, active listening and personalized care are the foundation of her patient care philosophy. She is committed to improving each patient’s quality of life by providing positive verbal feedback and prioritizing patient stated functional goals.
Amy Claire continues to further her training in pelvic health through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Institute. She recently completed a course on urinary incontinence of various types, as well as, pelvic pain and prolapse. She is enthusiastic about developing new programs and advocating for the importance and benefit of pelvic floor therapy. Amy Claire recently moved from Hunstville, AL to Starkville, MS and enjoys spending time outside with her husband and daughter and attending Mississippi State sporting events.
