Lauren Luke, DPT, Cert. DN
Lauren Luke is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with special training in Dry Needling and the Mackenzie Method. She uses dry needling for patients with migraines, myofascial pain, joint problems, tennis elbow, muscle strains, tendonitis and whiplash to help relieve pain and restore motion. The Mackenzie Method is best for patients with lower back, neck, knee and shoulder conditions to help take control of the pain and get back to the life you love.
Lauren has a special interest in sports medicine injuries and patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery. She is committed to helping patients safely return to the activities they love; whether that be a sport or spending time with grandchildren.
Lauren has an appreciation and enjoys playing an active role in every patient’s recovery. She is an active listener and understands the importance of individualized care for each patient. It is rewarding to watch her patients achieve their recovery goals.
After suffering a knee injury in high school and going through months of physical therapy, her passion for physical therapy was sparked. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, as well as her Master of Science in Health Promotion from Mississippi State University before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Originally from Philadelphia, MS, Lauren now lives in Columbus and is excited to become more involved in the community. Some of her favorite things include cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, reading on her porch and going to concerts.
