Ashlyn A. Mendrop is a dedicated Physical Therapist with a passion for helping athletes recover and excel. Her interest in physical therapy began in high school after she tore her ACL. With the guidance of her physical therapist, she was able to return to the sports she loved. While studying at Mississippi State University, Ashlyn worked as a student athletic trainer for the baseball team, where she was introduced to sports rehabilitation and the journey of returning athletes to their peak performance. This experience solidified her love for the field, as she enjoyed witnessing athletes regain their strength and skills.

Ashlyn believes in the importance of building strong relationships with her patients. She understands that connecting on a personal level is crucial to providing the best care possible. By listening to her patients’ daily concerns, she can tailor her treatment to meet their individual needs.

During her residency, Ashlyn had the opportunity to work with various athletic programs, including Jackson State University, Millsaps College, Ole Miss basketball, the Dixie National Rodeo, and the New Orleans Saints. She enjoys engaging with the community, cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, spending time with friends and family.
